IBR oil analysis

The experience of over 30 years laboratory technology, a comprehensive database and an unsurpassed high quality standard form the basis for practice-oriented analyses with a high validity.

In best cooperation with our business partner - an independent, excellently equipped oil analysis laboratory in Bavaria - highly qualified chemists and tribologists produce around 150,00 oil diagnoses annually.

 

Quality instead of Quantity

We are the only laboratory in Europe, where the oil samples remain in the sample bottles, Ultra Clean, during the process of analysis to reach an exact and replicable result of analysis.

    Gas Chromatograph

    Determination of glycol and fuel content in oils
    = indicates whether the oil is diluted or not and indicates a fault in the system (e.g. incorrectly adjusted carburettor, defective injection nozzle, clogged air filter)

     

    Flash point

    Determination of the flash point of oils or fuels
    = indicates whether the oil is diluted with fuel or not and indicates a fault in the system (e.g. incorrectly adjusted carburettor, defective injection nozzle, clogged air filter)

     

    TBN

    Determination of the total base number
    = Determination of oil ageing

     

    TAN

    Determination of the total acid number
    = Determination of oil ageing

     

    Fuel content

    The oil is diluted and indicates a fault in the system
    (e.g. incorrectly adjusted carburettor, defective injection nozzle, clogged air filter)
