Industriebedarf Rehm GmbH was founded in 1987 by Mrs. Dipl. Ing. Rehm and Mr. Dipl. Ing. Rehm with the conviction that the cleanliness of sample bottles and the quality of sampling are crucial for an accurate oil analysis.
In the initial phase, numerous tests were needed to develop a cleaning process that guaranteed the required cleanliness according to ISO 5884. In order to meet the stringent requirements of the ISO 5884 for the sample vessel, countless tests have been used to qualify the appropriate sample bottles and caps.
The first customers came from the aerospace and aviation sectors, where an exact oil analysis is indispensable. Due to the ever-increasing cleanliness requirements of the oils used and the high demands of leading oil analysis laboratories, the demand for sample bottles that comply with ISO 5884 has grown. Not only has the cleaning process been continually optimised, but the range of oil sampling devices has also been further developed.
Today, more than 10,000 IBR oil sampling sets per month are sent to customers from a wide range of industries. Construction machinery, aircraft and filter manufacturers, automotive and engineering groups, system providers for hydraulics, the German Armed Forces, police helicopter squadrons, oil manufacturers, laboratory equipment suppliers, engineering companies, particle equipment manufacturers and wind farm operators rely on the quality of the IBR sampling sets according to ISO 5884.
